WordPress.com Goes Down, Blogs Experience Outages

An unexpected change with one of WordPress.com’s data centers ended up crashing the service for nearly two hours this afternoon. Over 10 million blogs were effected, including prominent “VIP” sites, and approximately 5.5 million pageviews were reportedly lost.
