Writing about an experience you have had is great, but showing your audience a story in pictures can be even better. YouTellYou’s slogan is “The Magazine of Our Lives”, is a free service that allows you to create a magazine-style “photo story” with your your own photos and text.
The site supports uploading images from your local computer, or importing pictures from Flickr, Facebook, or Smugmug accounts, and your finished stories can be shared via email, Twitter, Facebook, or on a blog.
The official website of YouTellYou also features the Photo Stories Magazine, with publicly available pages made by other users.
While this might be a bit more than is necessary for people simply looking to slap a caption on their pictures and put them in an album (that’s what Flickr, Facebook and Smugmug themselves are for), the extra creative ability the site adds might appeal to bloggers and non-bloggers alike.
